Envisioning Your Vision

Vision boards or virtual design boards are a great way that the client can envision how the materials, fixtures and finishes all work together by placing images of your proposed items on one” board.” Once upon a time, these board would be made with cutout images of products along with samples of materials. Time consuming and more difficult to get a good layout because you were limited on the size of images and materials you could find. Creating a vision board is the first step before narrowing down the search for actual materials. After this step I often prepare photo realistic renderings of the space so that the client can not only see the materials and colors working together but also the proportions and a more realistic view of their space to be.
