For this design project, the challenge was not just to create a mountain home, but to craft an immersive experience that resonated with the client's desire for vibrant warmth, distinct from their primary residence. With a keen focus on creating a colorful, yet snug and inviting ambiance, the client's vision merged seamlessly with DesignHouse's expertise.
The essence of the design was to encapsulate the spirit of a British hunting lodge, evoking a sense of timeless charm and opulence. Rich hues and diverse patterns intertwined to create a tapestry of visual delight, while traditional, unlacquered brass fixtures added a touch of elegance and nostalgia.
Understanding the dynamic lifestyle of the family, the design seamlessly integrated practical elements. Durable flooring greeted the entry points, ready to withstand the wear and tear of outdoor adventures, while ample storage solutions ensured easy organization for gear and essentials.
Inspired by the client's love for outdoor activities like long walks, hikes, and skiing, as well as their penchant for entertaining loved ones, the design fostered an atmosphere of conviviality and relaxation. Warm woods enveloped the interiors, exuding a comforting embrace, while diverse gathering spaces invited moments of togetherness and joy.
