Striking, clean and contemporary, the loft-like condominium makes a strong statement after its renovation. Located on the outskirts of Detroit, the home of a cartographer was transformed to feature the owner’s beloved maps and photos of iconic places in Detroit collected over the years. Despite the small footprint, the ceilings soar to 12 feet with a large east facing window allowing light to pour in. Prior to our redesign, miscellaneous hand-me-down furniture, various souvenirs from travels and maps filled the home without a clear focal point. Designhouse helped edit and organize the space creating an updated and fashionable home punctuated with drama.
